The tournament is hosted by North Mission Viejo Little League and California District 68. A total of 10 teams will play in this tournament, after winning their respective Sectional Tournaments. The Southern California state boundaries range from north Santa Barbara south to the U.S. border and from the Pacific Ocean to the Arizona/Nevada borders. Umpires from all over the Southern California area will be working these games. The teams will be participating in the10-day tournament from July 22 through July 31, and the winning team will represent Southern California in the Western Regional Tournament in San Bernardino, California. The winning team of the regional tournament will represent the West at the Little League® World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in August.
